Kellogg Idaho

  1. What a beautiful area for such a tragic accident. I was glad to read that 85 made it out alive and couldn't believe that two more were found days later.

    1. It is a beautiful area. You can see Mel in the RV park in the last picture. An interesting side note, while I was across the road looking at the memorial the grandson of the sculptor drove up from Washington to show his girlfriend his grandfather's work. We had a nice chat.

  2. A sad story to hear. Did they ever find the cause of the fire.

  3. I always enjoyed Kellog's cereal for breakfast when I was a kid. Didn't know they mined it there in Idaho. Donna tried to tell me it grew on trees in California. I finally figured out that milk didn't come from milkweed, though.

    1. I think, between you and Donna, a bit more research might be in order.
