Oregon has changed a lot since those days, and we're happy for that. Getting here is not nearly as difficult as it once was. Those folks were a hardy and determined bunch, that's for sure. Teamsters are a lot different now, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed when traveling the pioneer trails that they walked thes distances at the rate of 20 miles a day. Hardy is an understatement.
