Since 2007 I have been a full time RVer traveling across this great country. During this time I have accumulated several thousand pictures and I have decide to share some every day with my readers. Click on pictures to enlarge them. You can also click on the headings for more information.
We've done the Pennsylvania Rail Lines and found them interesting. When we head out west we'll have to try and take in the Ely museum. Be Safe and Enjoy!
Great photos John. I usually click the first picture listed which expands them to a nice size on my 27" monitor, then arrow through them. I really like the photos of the train, inside and out.
You would enjoy the freight train then that comes through the south part of Bloomfield, where I live. I'll try to get some photos of it for you and pay more attention to their horn during the daylight hours so I can plan to wait for it. I do know at 12:30am and against at 4am it passes through, as I can hear the train horn about a mile away.
There are some pretty cool old railroads in Nevada. Lots to see.
ReplyDeleteI've ridden a couple of them and enjoyed the views.
DeleteWe have never visited Ely. We have friends that visited there about two months ago. They had the best time just taking in the sights.
ReplyDeleteThe train looks like a beauty.
It was a fun ride. You need to do that part of Nevada, Interesting history.

Nice little museum, but the train ride is the attraction.
