Elephant Butte New Mexico

A trip to Walmart today to replenish the pantry and look what I discovered. The entire parking lot will soon be under cover with solar panels. This is the first project of this type any where in the country and I'm sure if it's cost effective it will soon be coming to a parking lot near you.

      Especially in the southern states where they provide shade for parking.

    Andy Baird always liked it there, and Barbara and Katie did too. Nice place that we wanted to get to but never did. Thanks for the photos.

    I'm referring to Elephant Butte State Park, of course, not the Walmart parking lot.

      Walmart is good for one night, but with the cover and solar it might just become a destination for some.
